LoviSil®

Loop Cable Splices

From polymeric (XLPE/EPR)/ paper (PILC)Up to 35 kV1-core, 3-core and 3x1-core

Exceptional electrical insulation with fluid silicone, offering the best protection for all environments. Tested at 29 psi water pressure.

Easy and safe installation – soldering or shrinking of components is not necessary, resulting in fewer tools and minimizing the changes of human error.

Reliable for direct burial and manholes.

How It Works & Why It Helps

Decommissioning substations doesn’t have to mean extra work underground. The LoviSil® loop cable splice allows you to directly connect parallel cables without installing additional cable loops—saving time, effort, and materials.

The LoviSil® loop cable splice is designed to maintain cable continuity in looped configurations. Thanks to its smart design within the standard LoviSil® branch splice, this cable splice offers:

  • Simplified network rerouting, by looping cables directly within one splice
  • Reduced installation footprint, requiring less cable length and no extra splices
  • Reliable sealing and insulation, based on proven LoviSil® fluid silicone and Protolin® resin technology

Lovisil® Splicing Technology
